During October 2013 we organised a number of events to raise money for research into Breast Cancer
THERAPY DAY
Thursday 10 October 10.30 am – 4.00 pm
We gave everyone the opportunity to meet and talk to therapist Renate Gallei.
Renate offers a range of therapies, including Visceral Manipulation, which can help with:
• digestive disorders, e.g. bloating, reflux and constipation
• musculoskeletal disorders, e.g. back and neck pain
• women’s and men’s health issues, e.g. chronic pelvic pain and effects of the menopause
• Pain related to post-operative scar tissue.
Renate (www.lapisbutterfly.com) offered a free session to anyone who wanted to talk through a problem. And she was able to explain what she might be able to offer and how the therapy works.
All the donations made that day went to the Breast Cancer Campaign (www.breastcancercampaign.org).
‘Wear it Pink’ Coffee Day & Raise Money for Breast Cancer
Friday 25 October 10.30 am – 3.30 pm
We organised a Coffee Day for anyone who wanted to come along and enjoy handmade cakes, tea and coffee and raise money for the Breast Cancer Campaign at the same time.
Local cake-maker Dandelion Cakes donated the cakes and all proceeds from the day went towards research into breast cancer.
