One Sunday 23rd February we held a Silent Auction working with local businesses and people to generate Auction Lots and raffle prizes. We would like to say a big Thank you to Picassos for offering the venue to be able to hold this event, and providing nibbles and also Heard and Seen for organising the live music to keep everyone entertained. We had the pleasure of listening to Ed Goodale (who sang his new single Symptoms) and Rosie Hodgson (a finalist in the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards)
We had prizes donated from Heard and Seen, Mullabys of Midhurst, Generation Tennis, Olive and Vine Restaurant, The Tall Dog, Jackie Cox Reflexologist, Renate Gallei from La pisbutterfly, Midhurst Bike Repairs, Langham Brewery, Give 4 Beth, Seventh Heaven, Cowdray Golf Course, Jonquil Tonge Jeweller, Ellis Wines, Caroline Anstey and even a Signed Boxed bottle of Whisky from David Cameron!
We generated lots of raffle prizes from many of the users of The Tall Dog services, as well as Budgens, which made over £70 in itself. We continue to work with Toms family to organise more events and one of our next events will include a Charity Tennis Tournament with Generation Tennis and we continue to seek local schools that would like to join our Sponsored School Toddle.
